Rooted Tees Off for IndyHumane at Putts for Paws 2026

Rooted sponsored the 6th Annual Putts for Paws, helping raise over $58,000 for IndyHumane's mission across Central Indiana.

Wood Wind Golf Club hosted the 6th Annual Putts for Paws golf tournament on June 4th, and Rooted joined the fairway as a Platinum sponsor of the event benefiting IndyHumane.

The day delivered everything an 18-hole scramble promises: cannon-shot tee-offs, friendly competition, plenty of activities and networking along the cart path. Nate took his first-ever shot off a golf ball cannon, and Rooted’s foursome finished 3rd overall — a solid showing for a day that’s about a lot more than the leaderboard.

Putts for Paws 2026 raised over $58,000 for IndyHumane, funding shelter, medical care, behavioral support, and second chances for pets across Central Indiana. Every foursome, sponsorship, and raffle ticket contributed to that total.

Conversations on the course matter too.

Time spent talking with IndyHumane leadership, always adds meaningful context to a partnership that runs deeper than one event each year. Hunter Surles, founder of Rooted, serves as a member of IndyHumane’s Board of Directors, so the connection to this mission stretches year-round.

IndyHumane has served Central Indiana’s pets since 1905, and partnerships like this one keep that mission running. Anyone interested in adding a new best friend to the family can find adoptable pets at indyhumane.org/adopt.

Rooted looks forward to returning to the course for Putts for Paws 2027!
